Call for Applications: GRAZ FELLOWSHIP for Young Researchers 2006

The Graz Fellowship for Young Researchers 2006 is looking for qualified applicants. The application deadline is January 7, 2006.  

The Medical University of Graz is an internationally oriented university where excellent  biomedical research is conducted. In recognition of the fact that researchers' mobility, and  especially the mobility of young researchers, is a key factor for the future competitiveness of  European research and for the advancement of the medical sciences for the benefit of  humankind, the Medical University of Graz invites one young researcher to carry out a project in  collaboration with an Institute and/or Department of the Medical University in Graz.

Applicants must be young researchers aged 35 or younger (cut-off date = submission deadline). 

Fields: Anaesthesiology (Neuromonitoring/TCM/Neuro Intensive Care) - Biostatistics - Cell Biology  (especially Reproductive / Placental Biology) - Clinical Human Genetics (especially molecular  cytogenetics and array-based analyses of genomes) - Experimental and Molecular Hepatology  (cholestatic and metabolic liver diseases, liver fibrosis, liver cancer) - Neurology - Nursing  Science - Ophthalmology - Pathology (particularly Immune, Transplantation and Infection  Pathology) 

9 months (The grant amounts to EUR 10.000 and covers travel costs as well as accommodation  and subsistence in Graz.) 

Candidates must have finished a PhD or equivalent doctoral program.
