€2.5mn for Styrian Researchers at TU Graz from EU

The European Commission has recently granted €2.5mn to researchers from the Graz University of Technology in order to facilitate their cutting-edge research. They have developed a new class of contrast agents for magnetic resonance measurements.

This research will enable more accurate tomographic images to be generated in the future. Additional information on the research project can be found here.

The proposal from TU Graz was only one of 24 projects (out of 643 proposals) selected under the FET Open initiative of the Horizon 2020 program. FET Open supports early-stage research on any idea for a radically new technology and encourages scientists and engineers from multiple disciplines to work together on game-changing science and technology research, expanding well beyond the traditional technological disciplines.
