FasterCures/The Center for Accelerating Medical Solutions
Margaret Anderson is the executive director of FasterCures /The Center for Accelerating Medical Solutions, a nonprofit think tank and catalyst for action that works across sectors and diseases to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the medical research enterprise. FasterCures, a center of the Milken Institute, is nonpartisan and independent of interest groups.
In her role as executive director, Anderson helps bring together all of the sectors across the medical research enterprise to facilitate collaboration, and ensures that policies are in place to promote medical progress.
Previously, Anderson served as FasterCures' COO and deputy director of the Academy for Educational Development. She also led programs and studies for the Society for Women's Health Research, the American Public Health Association, and the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment. Anderson is vice president of the Alliance for a Stronger FDA, and a board member of the Council for American Medical Innovation and the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research.
