Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research (BMWF)
Ursula Brustmann has been working with the BMWF since 2000. Until 2003 she served on the Steering Committee at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research concerned with implementation of the University Act 2002. Since 2003 she has been a staff member in the Directorate of Research, and head of unit since 2008, gaining experience in setting up research funding programs for, e.g., research in museums www.formuse.at. Prior to her assignment to the BMWF, Ursula Brustmann had established the Office of the Head of Senate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
From January to June 2012, Ursula joined the Office of Science & Technology (OST) as visiting expert on behalf of the BMWF.
Ursula Brustmann holds a master’s degree in European ethnology from the University of Vienna, Austria.
